We are a not-for-profit charity that is dedicated to building and strengthening the Newcastle, Port Stephens and surrounding communities.

What we do.

Assisted Living Retirement Villages

IFG works closely with leading architects and builders to design and construct contemporary Assisted Living Retirement Villages. These gated communities offer hassle-free living in modern, one two or three bedroom open-plan living villas. IFG operates these villages with a focus on ensuring our residents’ health, happiness and independence come first. With staff on site 24x7, we provide peace of mind to all the residents.

In Home and In Community Supports for Older Australians

IFG is committed to ensuring older Australians can continue to live in their own homes as independently as they wish for as long as they wish. To enable this, we provide a broad range of in-home and in-community supports and services to older Australians through our Velocare subsidiary. The Velocare supports include domestic assistance, personal care, gardening and maintenance, transport, and social activities. We offer highly flexible support services, ensuring our clients receive exactly what they need and want at the right time.

Supports for People With Disability

People with disability have a right to maximise their choice and control in how they choose to live. IFG is here to support their decisions and provide the supports they want so they can live their life the way they want. We offer a range of in-home and in-community supports including, but not limited to, domestic assistance, personal care, gardening and maintenance, transport, and social/recreational activities. We actively work with our clients’ other service providers (including housing providers) to ensure they are getting the ultimate choice and control over their needs and lifestyle.

IFG is fully dedicated to achieving our mission. Currently our services and supports focus on older Australians and people with disability, however we are working on other ways we can help build and support our community. Stay tuned for more updates as we expand our horizons.
